Milton Keynes City Council and TOWN continue to work with contractors and design consultants to achieve an affordable build cost for the scheme.
There have been continued delays owing to challenges with the construction market and build costs. Nonetheless, the project remains a strategic priority for the Council and we appreciate the continued patience of the Wolverton community. We now anticipate that a further Council decision to approve the construction will be taken late this year and that construction would start in early 2026.
