MKCC and TOWN continue to work with the contractor to review the design and tender packages, with the aim to reduce construction costs so that this regeneration project can proceed. Unfortunately, this is taking longer than we originally expected but the contractor’s team is working hard.
We will need to refresh the business case fully once the pricing is confirmed and then consider decision making early in 2026. With this, we are still aiming to start construction early in 2026.
