To enable construction work to commence next year, we will be undertaking tree removal works in the Agora Centre car park and the areas surrounding the St. George’s Way estate from the 12th December 2022.
The tree removal works will be undertaken in accordance with the approved tree removal plans for the scheme (Planning case reference numbers 20/03293/FUL and 22/00024/FUL).
Trees need to be removed at this time of year ahead of the nesting season commencing in Spring, however we appreciate it will leave the site looking dramatically different until construction starts. The contractor will cordon off different areas of the car park at different times, and as such parking will remain available during these works and car park users will be given warning of the works by signage displayed by the contractor.
As demolition draws to a close and as we work towards appointing a main contractor to deliver the scheme, there will be a period of quiet on the site.
